Last week, I started studying improv at the Groundlings with Mikey Day in a 6 week intensive course. It’s been a great experience, our class has an awesome group mind, and my cheeks hurt from laughing and smiling so much.

The other fabulous actors in this class include Kimberley Dalton Mitchell, Kristin Sutton, Sarah Jayne Jensen, Brenda Partello, Jackie Nicole Anglin, Jeffery S. Fellin, Przemek Jeremko, Josue Jimenez, Adam Davenport, Lodric Collins, Dylan Rourke, Courtney Bell, Nicole Pacent, Breck Denny, and Francisco san Martin.

My space work and character work have already started to improve, and I have been exciting various directors at commercial callbacks with my heightened skill level. I also booked two new projects that I will be posting about in the coming weeks. I love how much fun improv is, how much it improves my acting, and that I can use the awesome games from my class to make my two year old laugh for an hour.

Today, Adelaide Lawren auditioned for the Groundlings and was accepted to study at the Groundlings School.

I’m super excited to dive into character based improv work and start the long process of studying at the Groundlings! I had a blast at the audition and am looking forward to my first class!

The short displayed six martyrs, who exemplified that there are innumerable men and women who have given their
lives for a cause greater than themselves.

I lived near her hometown for a number of years while I worked in Europe, and I often visited the university where she handed out the pamphlets that lead to her death.
